Common use of Recognition of Prior Service Clause in Contracts

Recognition of Prior Service. The recruiting Manager has the authority to recognise the previous experience of a new employee by appointing the employee onto a pay level higher than year 1. Such a decision will be dependent upon comparable experience that can be transferred into the business and associated market forces as determined by the recruiting Manager and/or the Front Office Manager. This pay level will form part of the formal employment offer that the applicant is free to either reject or accept.
