The purpose of the collaboration is to design, fabricate, and operate an instrument aboard the GLAST mission to study, with adequate efficiency and precision, gamma rays from space in order to enable the accomplishment of the proposed science program. The collaboration will undertake to carry out the science program, which is described in the proposal response to NASA AO 99-OSS-03 for the GLAST mission. Its primary goal is to accomplish a comprehensive study of the gamma-ray sky. This wide-range program provides an excellent opportunity to search for new phenomena.

To promote the collaboration of SDI and SDI country-based affiliates with members of the AAPS in order to promote initiatives, plans and policies which encourage pro-poor and inclusive cities and towns in Africa. The Partnership recognizes that planners play an important role in either facilitating or hindering the inclusion and improvement of informal settlements and slums, and that the education of planners has a fundamental impact on both their values and understanding, responses and practices, in relation to urban informality. The Partnership recognizes that one of the most effective ways to change the mind-sets of student planners is to offer them direct experiential exposure to, and interaction with, the conditions and residents of informal settlements and slums.
Purpose of the Collaboration. 2.1 The aim of the Parties is to identify and validate Targets within the Target Field, carry out drug discovery and to advance drug development candidates for Novo. The Parties will collaborate on mining, nominating, and validating Targets, will decide on the molecular format of Candidate Targets and jointly conduct drug discovery, as further specified in the Research Plan. To this end, Evotec shall leverage its expertise, capabilities, and platform to design, implement and deliver (Candidate) Targets, compounds, leads, as well as biomarkers and patient stratification strategies. Novo EXECUTION VERSION 8 July 2020 may support the collaboration with its disease biology expertise, access to key opinion leaders as required, and preclinical and clinical development expertise. It is understood between the Parties that, if the Compound is a Small Molecule Compound, Evotec shall conduct the drug discovery activities. If the Compound is not a Small Molecule Compound, Novo will conduct the drug discovery activities.
