Informal Settlements definition

Informal Settlements means an area where no sub division of individual erven has taken place in terms of Town planning legislation.
Informal Settlements means areas where informal housing structures have been constructed on land that the occupants have no legal claim, or occupy illegally or unplanned settlements and areas where housing is not in compliance with current planning and building regulations (unauthorized housing).

Informal Settlements. ’ means areas where one or more shacks have been constructed on land with or without the consent of the owner of the land or the person in charge of the land or on land that the occupants have no legal claim to or occupy illegally. No formal layouts have been planned and approved and services are communal in nature.

  • ASX Settlement means ASX Settlement Pty Ltd (ABN 49 008 504 532);
