Protection on Sick Leave. 17.1.1 An Employee who is unable to report for work as the result of illness or injury shall beconsidered tobeona medical leave of absence provided the Employee has contacted the Employer. Employees absent for more than 3 (three) consecutive days for illness or injury may be required to supply the Employer with a note from their physician/healthcare provider. The Employer agrees to reimburse the Employee for the cost of the medical certificate when one is requested.
