Preventive Medical Steps. An employee shall be allowed up to one (1) additional day per year for personal preventive medical health care, dental care or optical examination that cannot be provided in Port Xxxxx. On the same basis, during the term of pregnancy after the second trimester, an employee shall be allowed up to three (3) days in addition to that specified above, for prenatal preventive medical care where it is necessary to obtain it outside the community. The employee shall attempt to provide the Employer with notice of at least five (5) days.
