Common use of President’s decision Clause in Contracts

President’s decision. The President’s decision to grant or to deny promotion shall not be arbitrary or capricious. The President’s written notice of denial of promotion shall include reasons for denial. The President’s promotion decision shall be conveyed to the faculty member in writing by June 15. Processing of any subsequent applications for promotion shall take into account the areas of deficiency upon which promotion was denied.
