Common use of President, ONA Clause in Contracts

President, ONA. Upon application, in writing, by the Association on behalf of the nurse to the Employer, a leave of absence shall be granted to such nurse elected to the Office of President of the Ontario Nurses' Association. The nurse shall continue to accrue seniority and service during their absence. During such leave of absence for a nurse, their salary and applicable benefits shall be maintained by the Employer, and the Association agrees to reimburse the Employer the amount of the full cost of such salary and applicable benefits. Such reimbursement will be made within thirty (30) days of receipt of an invoice from the Employer.
