Positions in Scope. The Employer recognizes the Union as the sole and exclusive bargaining agent for all employees of the Employer employed in Transit Operations, as defined in the Canada Industrial Relations Board order number 8637-U, dated April 30, 2004. The following positions/persons are excluded from the bargaining unit. ▪ Supervisors; ▪ Positions above the rank of supervisor; ▪ City of Ottawa employees covered by other bargaining units; ▪ All persons employed in the Offices of the Mayor, Councillors and City Manager; ▪ All persons employed in the Employee Services Branch; ▪ One Administrative Assistant for each Deputy City Manager and one for each Director; ▪ All persons who provide administrative and coordination support to Council, Boards and/or their Committees; ▪ All budget analysts and budget officers of the Financial Services Units involved in budgetary related matters associated with labour relations issues, excluded by the Canada Industrial Relations Board; ▪ All Volunteers; ▪ Any other persons excluded under the provisions of the Canada Industrial Relations Board.

Related to Positions in Scope

  • Reductions in Scope of Work City may independently, or upon request from Consultant, from time to time, reduce the Required Services to be performed by the Consultant under this Agreement. Upon doing so, City and Consultant agree to meet and confer in good faith for the purpose of negotiating a corresponding reduction in the compensation associated with the reduction.

  • CHANGES IN SCOPE OF SERVICES Only the Xxxxxx County Board of Supervisors has the authority to agree to any extension of time, change order, change in the scope of work, change in the contract price, or other term or condition affecting either Contractor's or County's duties set forth herein. Adjustments in compensation, if any, shall be determined through negotiation between the parties to the Agreement and are subject to approval by the Board of Supervisors. Contractor acknowledges that no County staff person or County officer other than the Board of Supervisors has the power to amend the terms and conditions of this Agreement. Any change not so authorized in advance in writing by the Board of Supervisors shall be null and void.

  • CHANGES IN SCOPE Any changes in the scope of the Services to be performed under this Contract shall be in the form of a written amendment to this Contract, mutually agreed to and signed by both parties, specifying any such changes, fee adjustments, any adjustment in time of performance, or any other significant factors arising from the changes in the scope of Services.

  • Open Positions In order to ensure that all interested employees are advised of employment opportunities, notice of job vacancies for regular full or part time positions will be sent to the Union, and job announcements will be posted on designated bulletin boards in the office. In addition, information about all job vacancies will be available to employees by calling the office and in pay envelopes. All regular full or part time vacancies will be posted and filled in accordance with this Agreement. Postings will include position requirements, minimum qualifications, substitute and preferred qualifications (if any) and base rate of pay.

  • General Scope of Services Contractor promises and agrees to furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, services, and incidental and customary work necessary to fully and adequately supply professional services, as more particularly described in Exhibit B (Statement of Work and Misc. Documents) attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference (collectively “Services”). All Services shall be subject to, and performed in accordance with, this Contract, the exhibits attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, and all applicable local, state and federal laws, rules and regulations.

  • DUŠEVNÍ VLASTNICTVÍ The Institution acknowledges and agrees that the Sponsor shall have exclusive ownership rights to all Poskytovatel uznává a souhlasí, že Zadavatel bude mít výhradní vlastnická práva ke všem Study Data, improvements, developments, discoveries, inventions, work, know-how and other rights (whether or not patentable), created, developed, and/or reduced to practice as a result of or in connection with the conduct of the Study and/or the use of the Study Drug or the Confidential Information, together with all intellectual property rights relating thereto (“Intellectual Property”). The Institution shall promptly disclose in writing to PSI and the Sponsor all Intellectual Property made by the Institution, the Investigator and/or the Study Personnel. At the Sponsor's request, the Institution shall cause all rights titles and interests in and to any such Intellectual Property to be assigned to the Sponsor without additional compensation and provide reasonable assistance to obtain patents, including causing the execution of any invention assignment or other documents. Poskytovatel bude neprodleně písemně informovat PSI a Zadavatele o veškerém Duševním vlastnictví vytvořeném Poskytovatelem, Hlavním zkoušejícím a/nebo Studijním personálem. Na žádost Zadavatele zajistí Poskytovatel převod veškerých práv a zájmů týkajících se Duševního vlastnictví na Zadavatele bez další odměny a poskytne přiměřenou součinnost k získání patentu včetně zajištění podpisu dokumentů k převodu objevu nebo jiných dokumentů.
