Player Eligibility 3. 1.1 The onus to prove that a player is registered and participating in their competition is on the Affiliate. Upon a protest or report, an Affiliate found to be using a player that they cannot verify complies with this condition, to the satisfaction of the NSWTA, is liable to have the team and/or the player disqualified from the tournament. COVID-19 Due to the effects of COVID-19 on Season 1 2020 competitions, Affiliates may seek clarification from the NSWTA on the eligibility of impacted players for 2020-21 competitions. Relevant changes to eligibility due to COVID-19 Impacts on Season 1 2020 competitions will be outlined in the specific Event Conditions of Entry. All considerations will be determined with regard to ensuring players are able to be covered by the national insurance policy. 3.1.2 Must be registered online into the National Database (via MySideline), participating and financial member within their chosen NSWTA Affiliate(s) having participated in a minimum of five (5) domestic competition games in one (1) division in the Current Affiliate competition or Previous Affiliate Competition. NSWTA will only consider a player’s registration as valid from the date that is shown online within the Affiliate’s competition database. All players who are defined as an interstate player and wishing to participate at NSWTA events must make themselves available for NSW selection. Refer to Clause 3.1.1. 3.1.3 The minimum standard for the NSWTA is that of a weekly competition running no less than ten (10) weeks based on one (1) round per week.
