Piecework Prohibited. An Employer shall not pay or compensate its employees on the basis of piecework or on the basis of the number of units, linear feet, or square footage produced rather than time spent on production. Without restricting the generality of the foregoing, an Employer may not engage in any type of scheme or arrangement which results in compensation paid on the basis of piecework rather than time spent in completing the work covered by the Collective Agreement.
