Performance of the Capacity Building Programme on Poverty and Environment.  Assess the effectiveness and efficiency of the support provided and the achievements to date in Mozambique, Rwanda, Tanzania and Uganda in terms of capacity development for:  Formulating and monitoring policies that address poverty-environment linkages;  Incorporating environmental concerns in the expenditure framework of PRSPs;  Implementing environmental laws, regulations and policies developed and/or strengthened and harmonized;  Strengthening and harmonizing institutions dealing with management of biodiversity, climate change, desertification and poverty reduction;  promotion of ownership and homegrown environmental laws;  Strengthening legal expert’s technical capacity and capability to develop and draft environmental laws, regulations and polices;  Fostering synergistic approaches to implementation of MEA’s;  Strengthening reporting, planning and implementation of MEAs.  Assess the level of ownership of the projects in terms of relevance to the countries’ national development plans and environmental agendas and assess the likelihood of the projects being sustainable in terms of enabling environment, institutional sustainability and financial sustainability.  Determine the effectiveness of UNEP’s collaboration with UNDP and other key partners in the four countries and highlight the best and worst practices.  Assess the complementarity and integration between the support at the regional level and achievements in promoting information sharing and collaboration

  • Selection of Subcontractors, Procurement of Materials and Leasing of Equipment The contractor shall not discriminate on the grounds of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age or disability in the selection and retention of subcontractors, including procurement of materials and leases of equipment. The contractor shall take all necessary and reasonable steps to ensure nondiscrimination in the administration of this contract.

  • Local Circuit Switching Capability, including Tandem Switching Capability 4.2.1 Local circuit switching capability is defined as: (A) line-side facilities, which include, but are not limited to, the connection between a loop termination at a main distribution frame and a switch line card; (B) trunk-side facilities, which include, but are not limited to, the connection between trunk termination at a trunk-side cross-connect panel and a switch trunk card; (C) switching provided by remote switching modules; and (D) all features, functions, and capabilities of the switch, which include, but are not limited to: (1) the basic switching function of connecting lines to lines, line to trunks, trunks to lines, and trunks to trunks, as well as the same basic capabilities made available to BellSouth’s customers, such as a telephone number, white page listings, and dial tone; and (2) all other features that the switch is capable of providing, including but not limited to customer calling, customer local area signaling service features, and Centrex, as well as any technically feasible customized routing functions provided by the switch. Any features that are not currently available but are technically feasible through the switch can be requested through the BFR/NBR process.

  • System Upgrade Facilities and System Deliverability Upgrades Connecting Transmission Owner shall design, procure, construct, install, and own the System Upgrade Facilities and System Deliverability Upgrades described in Appendix A hereto. The responsibility of the Developer for costs related to System Upgrade Facilities and System Deliverability Upgrades shall be determined in accordance with the provisions of Attachment S to the NYISO OATT.

  • Building Commissioning Services The Owner may provide as a part of its testing services the Building Commissioning services involving the project’s HVAC and exhaust systems, temperature control systems, fire detection and alarm systems, emergency power and lighting system, fire suppression system, security locks and security locking control systems, food service equipment (if applicable), and laundry equipment (if applicable). In the event the Using Agency’s Program specifies additional commissioning services, the Owner shall procure such services as well. The Owner, through its Executive Administrator, may engage an independent Commissioning Authority. It is the intent of this Article that the Commissioning Authority enforce the requirements mentioned herein and certify that the systems and equipment listed all function properly prior to the initiation of each final inspection.

  • Outpatient emergency and urgicenter services within the service area The emergency room copay applies to all outpatient emergency visits that do not result in hospital admission within twenty-four (24) hours. The urgicenter copay is the same as the primary care clinic office visit copay.

  • Insurance, Subcontractor's Public Liability and Property Damage The Contractor shall require each of its subcontractors to secure and maintain during the life of the subcontract, insurance of the type specified in this Contract, or, the Contractor may insure the activities of its subcontractors in the Contractor’s policy, as specified in this Contract.

  • Management of Special and Technical Environment Each certificated support person demonstrates an acceptable level of performance in managing and organizing the special materials, equipment and environment essential to the specialized programs.

  • AIN Selective Carrier Routing for Operator Services, Directory Assistance and Repair Centers 4.3.1 BellSouth will provide AIN Selective Carrier Routing at the request of <<customer_name>>. AIN Selective Carrier Routing will provide <<customer_name>> with the capability of routing operator calls, 0+ and 0- and 0+ NPA (LNPA) 555-1212 directory assistance, 1+411 directory assistance and 611 repair center calls to pre-selected destinations.

  • Fire, Life Safety, and Accessibility Codes The following codes, in the versions approved by the Georgia State Fire Marshal/Fire Safety Commissioner and Department of Human Resources, shall be used. The Design Professional will designate any additional codes or special modifications in the Supplementary General Conditions.

  • Operating Environment Subscriber is solely responsible for acquiring, installing, operating and maintaining the hardware, software and Internet Browser environment necessary to access the Site and use the Services. Information on operating environment requirements can be located on the Site.
