Payroll Deductions Union Membership and Dues. Section 1. The University, upon notice from the Union of authorization by the employee, shall deduct from the paycheck of each employee who has so authorized it, the Union dues, initiation fees, assessments and voluntary contributions for the current month and promptly remit same to the Union. If the University receives authorization from an employee, the University shall notify the Union as soon as practicable.
