Parental and Adoption Leaves. a) A Teaching Faculty Member who is a parent not covered under Article 27.04 is entitled to parental leave, which shall be unpaid except as set out in Article 27.06, of up to thirty-seven (37) weeks, comprised of a one (1) week waiting period thirty- five (35) weeks leave and one (1) week under the University’s SUB plan at the end of the leave.
