Common use of Overtime Preference Clause in Contracts

Overtime Preference. When it is necessary to work overtime, preference shall be given to Workmen already on the job, as determined by the Employer and/or his representative, and the Business Manager. The workmen must report to the Union office before overtime is started, giving the job name, address, names of all men who will work, and if possible, the duration. The business manager may give the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ the permission to make such report.
