Offending Behaviour Sample Clauses

Offending Behaviour. This will take the form of a largely generic programme, designed to help the Trainee understand their motivations for offending, challenge faulty or misguided attitudes and beliefs that might sustain, minimise and/or distort offending behaviour, explore the consequences of offending and introduce new problem-solving skills and coping strategies. This programme will include work designed to help a Trainee reduce or ideally avoid substance misuse, involve a ‘smoking cessation’ element where appropriate and endeavour to challenge oppressive attitudes, behaviour and discriminatory attitudes and beliefs. Where a Trainee is serving a relatively short Detention and Training Order, these elements will be prioritised on an individual needs-led basis.
