Nonbinding Information Hearing. The Neutral Evaluator shall schedule a nonbinding informal hearing of the matter to be held within seven (7) days from receipt of notification of the existence of a dispute. The Neutral Evaluator may conduct the hearing in such manner as deems appropriate and shall notify each party to attend the hearing and present evidence they believe will resolve the dispute. The Neutral Evaluator is not bound by the rules of evidence in admitting evidence in the hearing and may limit the length of the hearing, witnesses or evidence introduced to the extent that he deems same to be relevant and efficient. Each party to the dispute shall be notified by the Neutral Evaluator that they shall submit a written outline of the issues and evidence intended to be introduced at the hearing and proposed resolution of the dispute to the Neutral Evaluator before the hearing commences. Arbitrators shall not participate in such informal hearing or proceeding process.

  • Arbitration Hearings a. Thirty (30) days prior to the start of each calendar quarter the Director of the USW Arbitration Department (or his designee) shall provide the parties with a calendar listing hearing dates for that quarter and be responsible for scheduling the hearings.

  • Arbitration Hearing An Arbitration Hearing will be held within thirty (30) days after the Administrative Conference if no discovery is taken, or within thirty (30) days after the close of discovery, unless all parties and the Panel agree to extend the Arbitration Hearing date, or unless the parties agree in writing to waive the Arbitration Hearing. The parties may mutually agree on the location of the Arbitration Hearing. If the parties fail to agree, the Arbitration Hearing shall be held in Chicago, Illinois, or at such other location determined by the Presiding Arbitrator to be most convenient to the participants. The Panel will determine the date(s) and time(s) of the Arbitration Hearing(s) after consultation with all parties and shall provide reasonable notice thereof to all parties or their representatives.

  • Pre-Job Conferences a) The Employer will notify the Union that a project has been awarded to the Employer following the award. Prior to the start of each project, a pre-job conference will be held to determine all site-specific issues as outlined in this Agreement. This conference may be conducted via telephone, through a scheduled meeting or by some other practical means as agreed to by the parties.

  • Request for Hearing The employee must file a written request for hearing within fifteen calendar days of receipt of the Notice of Dismissal or Suspension. Filing means receipt in the office designated no later than regular close of business on the last day of the filing period. Failure to file such request in a timely manner shall be deemed a waiver of the right to a hearing and the proposed action shall be effective upon action by the Governing Board without notice or hearing except as may be required in a board meeting agenda.

  • Suggestions and Feedback If you provide us with any suggestions, feedback or input (“Customer Input”) related to our Services, we (and our corporate group entities) will own all right, title and interest in and to the Customer Input, even if you have designated the Customer Input as confidential. We and our corporate group entities will be entitled to use the Customer Input without restriction. You assign to us all right, title and interest in and to the Customer Input and agree to provide us with any assistance we may require to document, perfect and maintain our rights in the Customer Input. For this purpose the word: “assign” is legal term which means legally transferring the benefit, such as you legally transferring the benefit of the Customer Input to us.

  • Informal Discussions The employee's concerns will be presented orally by the employee to the appropriate supervisor. Every effort shall be made by all concerned in an informal manner to develop an understanding of the facts and the issues in order to create a climate which will lead to resolution of the problem. If the employee is not satisfied with the informal discussion(s) relative to the matter in question, he/she may proceed to the formal grievance procedure.

  • Location of the Arbitration Hearing Unless applicable law provides otherwise, the arbitration hearing for United States residents will be conducted in the federal judicial district in which you reside (in your hometown area) or, for Canadian residents, in the province in which you reside, and, if you choose, will be in-person.
