Common use of Non-Traditional Work Schedules Clause in Contracts

Non-Traditional Work Schedules. The district may recruit and hire employees in the Maintenance and Operations, Technological Support and Facilities Departments on a non-traditional (other than Monday through Friday) schedule in any vacant and/or new positions. Any employees hired on a traditional Monday through Friday work schedule will not be forced to work on a non-traditional schedule except when overtime provisions of this contract are utilized. For the employees employed on a non-traditional work schedule (other than Monday through Friday), for the time worked on Saturdays or Sundays, a 10% salary differential shall be paid.
