Compressed Workweek Clause Samples

A Compressed Workweek clause allows employees to complete their standard weekly work hours over fewer days than the traditional five-day workweek. For example, an employee might work four 10-hour days instead of five 8-hour days, resulting in an extra day off each week. This arrangement provides greater flexibility for employees while ensuring that total weekly hours and productivity requirements are met, and it helps employers accommodate alternative scheduling needs or improve work-life balance for staff.
