Non-Payment of Union Dues. When an Employee is in a non-pay status for the entire pay period, no withholding from future earnings will be made to cover that pay period. In the case of an Employee who is in a non-pay status for only a part of such pay period, and the earnings are not sufficient to cover the full withholding, no deduction will be made. In this connection, all other legal and required deductions have priority over deductions for union dues. When an Employee's timecard was submitted after NIST's deadline for the submission of timecards to the National Finance Center (NFC) and has resulted in a manual payment, NFC and NIST do not withhold funds for union dues or other optional deductions. Payments to the union would be the Employee's responsibility.

  • DEDUCTION OF UNION DUES The Employer will, as a condition of employment, deduct an amount equal to membership dues from the biweekly pay of all employees in the bargaining unit.

  • Non-Payment of Fees Timely payment of fees owing under this Section 5 is a material condition of performance under this Agreement.   • Union Dues As a condition of employment, the Hospital will deduct from each employee covered by this Agreement an amount equal to the regular monthly union dues designated by the Union.   • CHECK-OFF UNION DUES 5.1 The Corporation shall, subject to the conditions and exceptions set forth hereunder, deduct on the payroll for the first pay period of each month from wages due and payable to each employee coming within the scope of this Collective Agreement, an amount equal to the prevailing monthly dues of the Union and shall remit the same by cheque (accompanied by a statement of deductions from individuals) to the Union Local Secretary- Treasurer, not later than twenty (20) days following the pay period in which the deductions are made.
