Common use of NIGHT SHIFT PAY Clause in Contracts

NIGHT SHIFT PAY. a. Employees in classes which characteristically work shifts shall receive night shift differential pay if one-half or more of their work period is before eight a.m. or after five p.m.

NIGHT SHIFT PAY. a. Employees in classes which characteristically who are assigned to night shift work shifts or who are assigned to replace another employee on a night shift shall receive night shift differential pay if one-one- half or more of their work period is before eight a.m. or after five p.m.three-thirty p.m. Night shift differential pay shall be seven and one-half percent (7.5%) of the employee’s standard daily or biweekly salary rate.
