Minimum Care. The parties are committed to delivering an aged care service that aligns with the recommendations of the Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety and that maintains safe systems of work for the benefit of all staff and residents. The Employer will make all reasonable efforts to meet the Government-mandated minimum staff time requirements from October 2023. Wherever possible, existing employees will be offered any additional hours that may become available because of the minimum time requirements on a permanent basis to promote meaningful job security.
