Minimize Use Clause Samples

The "Minimize Use" clause restricts the use of certain information, data, or resources to only what is strictly necessary for a specified purpose. In practice, this means that parties are required to limit their collection, processing, or handling of data to the minimum amount needed to fulfill contractual obligations or legal requirements. For example, a service provider may only access customer data essential for providing support, and not for unrelated activities. This clause helps protect privacy, reduce risk of misuse, and ensure compliance with data protection regulations by preventing unnecessary or excessive use of sensitive information.
