Medical Reminders Sample Clauses

Medical Reminders. The Medical Reminders module enforces patients’ adherence to their personalized treatment schedule and supports users with respect to social engagements and daily tasks, with automated notifications at the appropriate times. Each reminder may be one of three types, ‘Medical’, for reminders regarding medication intake, ‘Measurement’, for reminders regarding measurements of xxxxx xxxxx, or ‘Other’. Reminder types help caregivers in monitoring users’ compliance to different schedules. Users can easily manage reminders. To create a new reminder, the user has to select the type and input a title (e.g. name of medication to be received, type of vital sign to be measured, etc.), the date and time of notification, and the occurrence (once, daily, weekly, monthly or annually). Users can also edit or delete reminders. At the selected time, the user is notified with both audio and visual alerts and the title of the reminder is displayed, to let the user know about the required action. The user can then dismiss the reminder, in which case they will be notified again after a few minutes, cancel the reminder or xxxx the associated action as completed.
