Maximum Accruals of Flexible Compensatory Time. Flexible compensatory time may not be accumulated in excess of two hundred eighty-eight (288) hours. After two hundred eighty-eight (288) hours are accrued by an employee, the employee will receive flexible pay at the rate of 1.0 times his/her base rate of pay. Flexible compensatory time may be taken on those dates and times determined by mutual agreement of the employee and the Department Head or designee.

  • Compensatory Time Off a. An employee in the bargaining unit shall have the option to elect to take compensatory time off in lieu of cash compensation for overtime work. Compensatory time off shall be granted at the appropriate rate of overtime in accordance with Section 6 of this Article (Overtime).

  • Maximum Accrual Vacation credit may be accumulated to a maximum that can be earned in four (4) years. Further accumulation will not continue when the maximum is reached. When an employee’s vacation reaches the maximum level, and if the employee has been denied vacation during the twelve (12) months, the employee will be paid for the time denied but no more than eighty (80) hours in a pay period.
