Plan of Assistance a. If an educator receives an “Unsatisfactory” rating on any component on the summative evaluation, a written Notification of Unsatisfactory Performance will be provided to the educator which will include areas requiring improvement.
Structure of Assistance The Program is envisioned as a revolving fund. The Program will make a five-year, non-recourse, zero-percent forgivable, non- amortizing loan in which a second lien is recorded on the property. Twenty percent of the loan will be forgiven for each year the loan is outstanding. If the property is sold or refinanced prior to the loan termination date, the Program will recover funds should sufficient equity be available from the transaction. The Program will recycle recovered funds in order to provide additional program assistance until December 31, 2017, at which time any recovered funds will be returned to Treasury.
Duration of Assistance Program funds will be distributed as a one-time payment to the servicer.
Turnover Assistance Grantee will provide any assistance and actions reasonably necessary to enable System Agency or its designee to effectively close out the Grant Agreement and transfer the performance and obligations of the Grant Agreement to another Grantee or to System Agency if necessary. Grantee agrees that this obligation survives the termination, regardless of whether for cause or convenience, or the expiration of the Grant Agreement and remains in effect until completed to the satisfaction of System Agency.
Roadside Assistance If you purchase the optional Roadside Assistance, we will provide you with 24/7 breakdown assistance (where available) without additional charge. Roadside Assistance includes replacement of lost keys or key fobs, flat tire service, jumpstart, and key lockout services. When deciding whether to purchase Roadside Assistance, you may wish to check whether you have you have other coverage for the services. Roadside Assistance is not insurance. Roadside Assistance is void if you are in breach of this Agreement, including the prohibited uses in paragraph 5.
Other Assistance Assist SBEs in their efforts to obtain bonds, lines of credit and insurance. (Note that the Agency has a Surety Bond Program that may assist SBEs in obtaining necessary bonding.) The Agency-Assisted Contractor or Contractor(s) shall require no more stringent bond or insurance standards of SBEs than required of other business enterprises.
Recognition of Association 16 X. Xxxxxxxx to and in accordance with all the applicable provisions of Act 176 of the Public Acts of 1939 and Act 336 of the Public Acts of 1947, as amended, EMU does hereby recognize the Association as the certified exclusive collective bargaining representative for all teaching Faculty employed by Eastern Michigan University, including professors, associate professors, assistant professors, instructors, media service managers*, coach/teachers* and librarians with Faculty rank; and excluding Deans, Directors, Department Heads and other supervisory employees, lecturers, visiting professors, adjunct professors, non-tenure track academic employees, career army personnel in the Department of Military Science, and all other employees. *In accordance with MERC cases #R75J-427 and R76A-1.
Certification Regarding Prohibition of Boycotting Israel (Tex Gov. Code 2271) If (a) Vendor is not a sole proprietorship; (b) Vendor has ten (10) or more full-time employees; and (c) this Agreement or any agreement with a TIPS Member under this procurement has value of $100,000 or more, the following certification shall apply; otherwise, this certification is not required. Vendor certifies, where applicable, that neither the Vendor, nor any affiliate, subsidiary, or parent company of Vendor, if any, boycotts Israel, and Vendor agrees that Vendor and Vendor Companies will not boycott Israel during the term of this Agreement. For purposes of this Agreement, the term “boycott” shall mean and include refusing to deal with, terminating business activities with, or otherwise taking any action that is intended to penalize, inflict economic harm on, or limit commercial relations with Israel, or with a person or entity doing business in Israel or in an Israeli-controlled territory but does not include an action made for ordinary business purposes. Request for Assistance Whenever, in the opinion of a Requesting Official of a Party, there is a need for Public Works Assistance from another Party, such Requesting Official may, at his or her discretion, call upon the Sending Official of any other Party to furnish Public Works Assistance.
Emergency Assistance Both Parties shall exercise due diligence to avoid or mitigate an Emergency to the extent practical in accordance with applicable requirements imposed by the Standards Authority or contained in the PJM Tariffs and NYISO Tariffs. In avoiding or mitigating an Emergency, both Parties shall strive to allow for commercial remedies, but if commercial remedies are not successful or practical, the Parties agree to be the suppliers of last resort to maintain reliability on the system. For each hour during which Emergency conditions exist in a Party’s Balancing Authority Area, that Party (while still ensuring operations within applicable Reliability Standards) shall determine what commercial remedies are available and make use of those that are practical and needed to avoid or mitigate the Emergency before any Emergency Energy is scheduled in that hour.
