Common use of Local Resident Clause in Contracts

Local Resident. A local resident shall be defined as any person residing within one hundred (100) kilometres by road of the project or, where ferry travel is involved, within seventy-five (75) minutes travel time including ferry travel and road kilometres, and who has resided at a permanent address for a period of forty-five (45) calendar days in any city, town, village or district where the work is being performed.

Local Resident. Living out allowance shall not be paid to local residents.

Such travel time shall include all ferry travel and road kilometres, and who has resided at a permanent address for a period of forty-five (45) calendar days in any city, town, village or district where the work is being performed.
