Limited Scope of Authority. 4.1 The Recruiter shall not make or enter into any contracts or commitments or incur any liability for or on behalf of the Client and shall not negotiate any terms for a contract of employment with Candidates. The Recruiter shall explain the scope of its services to each Candidate and make clear that it has no authority or ability to negotiate or enter into any contracts on behalf of the Client.

Limited Scope of Authority. In the performance of the duties set out in Section II and Exhibit A and subject to Section IV, Consultant will be deemed an independent contractor of the County, and not an employee. The scope of Consultant’s authority as an agent of the County includes only the authority reasonably necessary to perform the duties set out in Section II and Exhibit A and no more. In performing under this contract, Consultant may ride in a vehicle owned and operated by an employee of the County or one of the County’s radio vendors, such as Black & Xxxxxx or Motorola.
