Leave for Union Functions. Section 1. Management will grant a total of thirty (30) days of leave of absence with pay per year for members of the Union to attend functions of the Union, provided such leave is requested in advance and the needs of the service will not be adversely affected by such absence. Such days shall be accumulative for the life of this Agreement, and any balance shall be carried over to a successor Agreement.
