Common use of Leave, Board of Directors Clause in Contracts

Leave, Board of Directors. A nurse who is elected to the Board of Directors of the Ontario Nurses' Association, other than to the office of President, shall be granted upon request such of absence as she or he may require to fulfill the duties of the position. Reasonable notice sufficient to adequately allow the Hospital to minimize disruption of its services shall be given to the Hospital for such leave of absence. A nurse who is elected to the Board of Directors of the Ontario Nurses' Association, other than to the office of President, shall be granted upon request such leave(s) of absence as she or he may require to fulfill the duties of the her position. Reasonable Reasonable, notice sufficient to adequately allow the Hospital to minimize disruption of its services shall be given to the Hospital for such leave of absence. Notwithstanding Article there There shall be no loss of seniority or service for a nurse during such leave of absence. Leave, President, Upon application in writing by the Association on behalf of the nurse to the Hospital, a leave of absence shall be granted to such nurse elected to the office of President of the Ontario Nurses' Association for a period of up to three (3) consecutive two (2) year terms. Notwithstanding Article there shall be no loss of service or seniority for a nurse during such leave of absence. During such leave of absence, the nurse's salary and applicable benefits shall be maintained by the Hospital and the Association agrees to reimburse the Hospital in the amount of the full cost of such salary and applicable benefits. It is understood, however, that during such leave the nurse shall be deemed to be an employee of the Ontario Nurses' Association. The nurse xxxxx agrees to notify the Hospital of her or his intention to return to work at least two (2) weeks prior Bereavement Leave bereavement leave. Jury Witness Duty notifies the al immediately or the nurse's notification court; thatt she will be required to attend presents proof of service requiring the date nurse's attendance; deposits with the Hospital the full amount of such returncompensation received excluding mileage, travelling and meal allowances and an official receipt where available.
