International Circuits. During the term of this Agreement, AOL ---------------------- may decide to purchase an International circuit for connecting the portion of the AOLnet network located in Brazil to the portion of the AOLnet network located in the United States. Alternatively, or in addition, AOL or AOL US (i.e., America Online, Inc. and/or its affiliates) may decide to offer their own backbone services for bringing network traffic from Brazil and other parts of Latin America to AOL data centers located in the United States. If any of the above-described circumstances (or circumstances comparable thereto) occur, AOL agrees to explore opportunities with NETSTREAM to either re-evaluate the current International circuit agreement or to assist in the procurement of a new International circuit. AOL shall have the right, which right may be exercised in its sole discretion at any time without penalty, to terminate any provisions of this Agreement (including the applicable provisions for the payment of fees) that pertain to the provision of backbone services between Brazil and AOL data centers in the United States.

  • International Assignor hereby requests such “open access” publication of the Animated abstract and agrees to pay the applicable Fee in accordance with the terms below: [ ] YES [ ] NO The Fee shall be paid initially with a US$ 500 advance payment on giving the Publisher the instruction to start work on the Animated Abstract, and US$ 450 (English language edition) or US$ 950 (Foreign language edition) on completion of the Animated Abstract. On making bank payments, please ensure that reference is made to our invoice number to avoid your payment not being traced. The Fee shall be paid in full without any deduction or withholding other than as required by law and the Assignor shall not be entitled to assert any credit, set-off, deduction, counterclaim or abatement of any nature whatsoever against Xxxxxxx Science in order to justify withholding payment of any such amount in whole or in part. If the Assignor is required, pursuant to any applicable present or future law, rule or regulation of any competent governmental or other administrative body, to make any deduction or withholding from any amount payable to Xxxxxxx Science pursuant to this Agreement, the Assignor shall pay to Xxxxxxx Science an additional amount as will, after the deduction or withholding has been made, leave Xxxxxxx Science with the same amount as it would have been entitled to receive in the absence of any such requirement to make a deduction or withholding; promptly pay to the relevant authority the amount of such deduction or withholding; and provide evidence of the same to Xxxxxxx Science on request.

  • INTERNATIONAL BIDDING All offers (tenders), and all information and Product required by the solicitation or provided as explanation thereof, shall be submitted in English. All prices shall be expressed, and all payments shall be made, in United States Dollars ($US). Any offers (tenders) submitted which do not meet the above criteria will be rejected.
