Common use of Internal Professional Development Clause in Contracts

Internal Professional Development. The Employer agrees to support the professional development and internal promotion of employees. The Employer will create a Professional Development Plan for all employees who express interest in writing to management and have completed six (6) months of employment. Completion of a Professional Development Plan is not a guarantee of promotion. The employee will submit such a request in writing and the Employer will schedule an appointment with the employee to review the professional development plan within thirty (30) days of receiving the request.
