Interconnection Design Two. Network Gateway Interface (“NGI”) Connection. CLEC may interconnect through an NGI connection. CLEC will provide transport into SBC-ASI/13State facility. CLEC will either purchase/lease access or use its own access to interconnect with SBC-ASI/13State. The CLEC will be responsible for any cost associated with delivering the access facility to SBC-ASI/13State’s demarcation point. The POI shall be designated as the Demarcation Point. SBC-ASI/13State will have a specified location for entry. SBC-ASI/13State will provide the appropriate CFA information to the CLEC. Each Party is responsible for designing, provisioning, ownership and maintenance of all equipment and facilities on its side of the POI.

  • Network Interconnection Architecture Each Party will plan, design, construct and maintain the facilities within their respective systems as are necessary and proper for the provision of traffic covered by this Agreement. These facilities include but are not limited to, a sufficient number of trunks to the point of interconnection with the tandem company, and sufficient interoffice and interexchange facilities and trunks between its own central offices to adequately handle traffic between all central offices within the service areas at P.01 grade of service or better. The provisioning and engineering of such services and facilities will comply with generally accepted industry methods and practices, and will observe the rules and regulations of the lawfully established tariffs applicable to the services provided.

This interconnection provides connectivity that enables the exchange of SS7 messages among BellSouth switching systems and databases, Global Connection local or tandem switching systems, and other third-party switching systems directly connected to the XxxxXxxxx XX0 network.

  • Interconnection Customer Interconnection Facilities Interconnection Customer shall design, procure, construct, install, own and/or control Interconnection Customer Interconnection Facilities described in Appendix A, Interconnection Facilities, Network Upgrades and Distribution Upgrades, at its sole expense.
