Insurance Program Eligibility in the Event of Retirement. An employee who retires is eligible to participate in the health/hospitalization plan upon retirement per Minnesota Statute, but must pay the entire premium for the plan selected. The right to continue participation in such plan will be in accordance with conditions of the carrier and/or until they qualify for coverage under another program.
