Index and indexed compensation. Insurance amounts are according to the consumer price index for indexation, which is in force from 1 May 2015 (426.4 points) and which changes on the first day of each month in direct proportion to changes in the index. Compensation amounts are calculated on the basis of insurance amounts on the day of the accident, but they change with the consumer price index for indexation as follows: Compensation amounts change in direct proportion to changes in the index from the day of the accident until the day of settlement.
