In Lieu Time to Attend Committee Business. Employees who are members of the Committee shall be granted leave without loss of pay or receive straight time regular wages while attending meetings of the Committee or to participate in workplace inspections and accident investigations at the request of the Committee pursuant to the WCB Occupational Health and Safety Regulations. Each member is entitled to an annual educational leave totaling eight (8) hours to attend courses identified by the Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee to promote a safe and healthy workplace that are conducted by WorkSafeBC or with the approval of WorkSafeBC. Courses must be approved by the Employer.
