HOLIDAYS FALLING ON A SATURDAY OR SUNDAY. In the event that a holiday occurs on a Saturday or Sunday, the Monday following shall be considered the holiday (with the exception of the period of December 27th to December 31st inclusive), unless otherwise agreed upon. When the July 1 holiday falls on a Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday the employee may take the preceding Monday as the holiday, unless otherwise requested by the Employer by written notice two (2) weeks prior to the Monday.
