Hazardous and Other Regulated Substances. (a) Contractor agrees to accept sole responsibility for full compliance with any and all applicable present and future rules, regulations, restrictions, ordinances, statutes, laws and/or other orders of any governmental entity regarding the use, storage, handling, distribution, processing and/or disposal of hazardous wastes, extremely hazardous wastes, hazardous substances, hazardous materials, hazardous chemicals, toxic chemicals, toxic substances, pollutants, contaminants or other similarly regulated substances (hereinafter referred to as "hazardous substances") regardless of whether the obligation for such compliance or responsibility is placed on the owner of the land, on the owner of any improvements on the premises, on the user of the land or on the user of the improvements. Said hazardous substances shall include, but shall not be limited to, gasoline, aviation, diesel and jet fuels, lubricating oils and solvents. Contractor agrees that any damages, penalties or fines levied on City and/or Contractor as a result of noncompliance with any of the above shall be the sole responsibility of Contractor and further, that Contractor shall indemnify and pay and/or reimburse City for any damages, penalties or fines that City pays as a result of noncompliance with the above.

  • Hazardous Materials Tenant shall not keep on the Premises any item of a dangerous, flammable or explosive character that might unreasonably increase the danger of fire or explosion on the Premises or that might be considered hazardous or extra hazardous by any responsible insurance company.

  • No Hazardous Materials (A) have been disposed of or otherwise released from any Real Property of the Company or any of its Subsidiaries in violation of any Environmental Laws; or

  • Dangerous Materials Tenant shall not keep or have on the Premises any article or thing of a dangerous, flammable, or explosive character that might substantially increase the danger of fire on the Premises, or that might be considered hazardous by a responsible insurance company, unless the prior written consent of Landlord is obtained and proof of adequate insurance protection is provided by Tenant to Landlord.

  • D4 Environmental Requirements D4.1 The Contractor shall, when working on the Premises, perform its obligations under the Contract in accordance with the Authority’s environmental principles, which are to conserve energy, water, wood, paper and other resources, reduce waste and phase out the use of ozone depleting substances, minimise the release of greenhouse gases, volatile organic compounds and other substances damaging to health and the environment.

  • HAZARDOUS PRACTICES No barbeque grills of any kind are permitted on balconies or in the unit. No open flames ie. Candle burning is permitted on balconies or in the unit. Do not dismantle smoke detectors as they are there for your protection. Use the overhead stove fan when cooking to avoid accidental, activation of smoke detector alarm. ABSOLUTELY NO PETS with the exception of Service Animals are allowed. If evidence of a pet(s) is found in the unit or on the premises you will be asked to vacate immediately with no refund of rent. FAMILY RENTAL ONLY Reservations made for teenagers or young single groups will not be honored without any accompanying adult staying in the unit at ALL times. All guests must be 25 or older unless their parent is in the condo. Any violators will be evicted according to Florida Statute 508.141 with forfeiture of all monies. FALSIFIED RESERVATION any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of reservation deposit, damage deposit, and/or balance of rental payment.

  • Environmental Laws The Company and its Subsidiaries (i) are in compliance with all federal, state, local and foreign laws relating to pollution or protection of human health or the environment (including ambient air, surface water, groundwater, land surface or subsurface strata), including laws relating to emissions, discharges, releases or threatened releases of chemicals, pollutants, contaminants, or toxic or hazardous substances or wastes (collectively, “Hazardous Materials”) into the environment, or otherwise relating to the manufacture, processing, distribution, use, treatment, storage, disposal, transport or handling of Hazardous Materials, as well as all authorizations, codes, decrees, demands, or demand letters, injunctions, judgments, licenses, notices or notice letters, orders, permits, plans or regulations, issued, entered, promulgated or approved thereunder (“Environmental Laws”); (ii) have received all permits licenses or other approvals required of them under applicable Environmental Laws to conduct their respective businesses; and (iii) are in compliance with all terms and conditions of any such permit, license or approval where in each clause (i), (ii) and (iii), the failure to so comply could be reasonably expected to have, individually or in the aggregate, a Material Adverse Effect.
