General Provisions Related to Layoffs. For purposes of layoff the seniority lists will be merged. It is understood and agreed that if a part time employee bumps a full time employee as part of the layoff procedure the part time employee is accepting the full time position only. Similarly, if a full time employee bumps a part time employee as part of the layoff procedure the full time employee is accepting the part time position only. Note that the matter of benefits coverage will be determined by the status into which the employee bumps.
