Further Duties of Customer. 2.1 The Customer remains legally responsible for the assessment of the lawfulness of the collection, cross-border transfer processing and use of Personal Data, as well as for the safeguarding of the rights of affected third parties and the data subjects; and with regard to claims asserted by such third parties and data subjects; and the Customer shall ensure that any Personal Data stored in the Information Systems is lawfully processed and transferred.
