By notifying us in writing, the Contract Holder may allow Participants to choose Investment Options for an Individual Account. The Contract Holder may, however, retain the right to choose Investment Options for employer Contributions. Unless otherwise provided by the Plan, we will make payments only at the written direction of the Contract Holder and a Participant. Unless otherwise specified by the Plan, we will make an inservice transfer under Internal Revenue Service Revenue Ruling 90-24 only at the written direction of the Contract Holder and a Participant and will make checks payable to the acquiring investment provider(s). The Contract and Individual Accounts are nontransferable and nonassignable except to us in the event of a loan (if allowed under the Contract) or in the event of a qualified domestic relations order as allowed under the Retirement Equity Act of 1984 (REA). Participants have a nonforfeitable right to the value of employer Contributions made to their Individual Accounts subject to any Plan vesting limits as determined by the Contract Holder. Participants have a nonforfeitable right to the value of employee Contributions made to their Individual Accounts as provided by Code Section 403(b) and subject to the terms of the Plan. The Contract Holder must notify us in writing if the Plan is, or becomes, subject to the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA) and/or related law or regulations including REA. We will rely on the Contract Holder's determination and representation of the applicability of such laws. If the Plan is subject to ERISA, before we will make a distribution from an Individual Account, the Contract Holder must certify in writing that all applicable REA requirements have been met and that the distribution complies with the Plan.]

  • Annuity Unit Value The initial Annuity Unit Value for each Subaccount was arbitrarily set at $10 on the Business Day the Subaccount began operations. At the end of each subsequent Business Day, the Annuity Unit Value for each Subaccount is equal to (A x B) x C, where:

  • ANNUITY UNIT A unit of measure used to determine the amount of variable payments under a variable payment plan and the value of the interest of a variable payment plan in the Separate Account.

  • ACCUMULATION UNIT VALUE The initial accumulation unit value of each Sub-Account was established at $10. The accumulation unit value of a Sub-Account on a Valuation Date is calculated by multiplying the accumulation unit value as of the immediately preceding Valuation Date by the net investment factor as described in the Net Investment Factor provision below. The dollar value of an Accumulation Unit will vary in amount depending on the investment experience of the Portfolio and charges taken from the Sub-Account.

  • Account Value The term “Account Value” is defined as the policy value determined in accordance with the terms of the Annuities.

  • Account Balance The Servicer must never allow any Custodial T&I Account to become overdrawn as to any individual related Borrower. If there are insufficient funds in the account, the Servicer must advance its own funds to cure the overdraft.

  • Life Annuity The monthly annuity shall be payable to the annuitant for as long as the annuitant lives, and shall end with the last monthly payment before the death of the annuitant.

  • Actuarial Equivalent The Actuarial Equivalent of the payments from the SERP determined under that Plan and this subsection shall be determined by taking into account the reduction for early commencement of benefits imposed by that Plan and by using reasonable actuarial assumptions. For purposes of determining the lump sum actuarial equivalent, the corresponding actuarial assumptions provided in the Retirement Plan (or, to the extent not provided in that Plan, as provided under GATT) shall be used.

  • Fixed Annuity Payments The minimum guaranteed income purchased per $1,000 of the net amount applied to a fixed annuity is based on an annual interest rate of 3% and the 1983a Mortality Table with the ages set back ten (10) years. Conversion to Current Rates – Annuity payments will be based on the greater of: • our current income factors in effect for this Contract on the Annuity Date; or • our guaranteed income factors. The dollar amount of any payments after the first annuity payment is specified during the annuity payment period according to the provisions of the elected Annuity Option.

  • ANNUITY PAYMENT OPTIONS a. Life Annuity / Life Annuity with Certain Period -- Fixed and/or Variable Annuity Payments will be made for the lifetime of the Annuitant with no Certain Period, or life and a 10 year Certain Period, or life and a 20 year Certain Period.
