Common use of Footwear Allowance Clause in Contracts

Footwear Allowance. All part time employees with a minimum of two (2) years of service that are required by the Employer to purchase and use safety footwear will be reimbursed thirty ($30) dollars upon presentation of a receipt. This reimbursement is on a one-time basis during the life of the agreement. Full-time employees will be entitled to reimbursement of thirty ($30) dollars twice during the life of this Collective Agreement upon presentation of a receipt. Safety shoes must be entirely black in colour and must be Canadian Standards Approved (CSA). #9 – SCHEDULE CHANGES The Employer is required to make a reasonable effort to verbally advise individual employees of changes to their work schedule once it has been posted. #10 – SCHEDULE REQUESTS Shop Stewards shall be provided with copies of schedules upon request.
