Flexible Walkways Clause Samples
The Flexible Walkways clause establishes requirements and standards for the design, installation, and maintenance of walkways that can adapt to movement or shifting conditions. In practice, this clause may specify the types of materials to be used, load-bearing capacities, and methods for accommodating expansion, contraction, or ground settlement. Its core function is to ensure that walkways remain safe and functional even when subjected to environmental changes or structural movement, thereby reducing the risk of damage and ensuring ongoing accessibility.
