Field Training Officer. The assignment to the position of Field Training Officer shall be by a competitive process as determined by the Chief of Police. During the time upon which a Field Training Officer, or any dispatcher is assigned to a trainee, said employee shall receive a pay differential of $2.00/hr to be added to the employee's base hourly pay during the training period.
