Common use of Family Transportation Benefit Clause in Contracts

Family Transportation Benefit. (i) When an Insured Person is confined as an in-patient in a hospital due to Accidental Bodily Injuries that result in a Loss, TD Life will pay for the expenses incurred to transport an Immediate Family Member of the Insured Person to the hospital. Such personal attendance must be recommended by an attending physician, and such transportation must be via Common Carrier on the most direct route available.
