Lost Baggage. In the event the Common Carrier never locates the Covered Person’s Checked Baggage, You will be reimbursed for the portion of the replacement cost of lost personal property that is not paid by the Common Carrier or other insurance. The total benefits payable in respect of sub-sections A and B are subject to a maximum of $1,000 per Covered Person per Trip. To activate coverage, use Your Card to pay for the Ticket in full.   • Baggage THE CARRIER shall be liable for loss or damage to checked baggage by the sole reason that the act causing the destruction, loss or damage occurred while the checked baggage was on board the aircraft or at any time under the custody of THE CARRIER. For unchecked baggage including personal items, THE CARRIER shall be liable if damage was caused by its fault or the fault of its employees or agents.

  • Lost Time Apprentices are required to serve an additional day for each day of absence during each year of their apprenticeship, except in respect of absences due to annual leave or long service leave. The following year of their apprenticeship does not commence until the additional days have been worked. However, any time that has been worked by the apprentice in excess of their ordinary hours shall be credited to the apprentice when calculating the amount of additional time that needs to be worked in the relevant year.

  • Minor Damage In the event that a Property is damaged or destroyed by fire or other casualty prior to the Closing, and the cost of Repairs is equal to or less than ten percent (10%) of the Purchase Price for such Property, then this transaction shall be closed in accordance with Section 11.3, notwithstanding such casualty. In such event, applicable Seller may at its election endeavor to make such Repairs to the extent of any recovery from insurance carried on the Property, if such Repairs can be reasonably effected before the Closing. Regardless of applicable Seller’s election to commence such Repairs, or applicable Seller’s ability to complete such Repairs prior to Closing, this transaction shall be closed in accordance with Section 11.3 below.
