Family Transportation Benefit. (i) When an Insured Person is confined as an in-patient in a hospital due to Accidental Bodily Injuries that result in a Loss, Allianz will pay for the expenses incurred to transport an Immediate Family Member of the Insured Person to the hospital. Such personal attendance must be recommended by an attending physician, and such transportation must be via Common Carrier on the most direct route available.

This benefit cannot exceed the maximum amount shown in the policy schedule.

Occupational Training Benefit for Spouses If benefits are payable under this benefit provision for your death, Great-West Life will pay for expenses associated with your spouse’s enrolment in an accredited occupational training program. The purpose of the training program must be to provide the spouse with at least the minimum qualifications required for employment in an occupation for which the spouse would not otherwise qualify. Great-West Life will pay up to 10% of the Principal Sum, or $10,000, whichever is less. No benefits will be paid for expenses incurred more than 3 years after the accident causing your death, or room or board or other ordinary living, travelling, or clothing expenses.
