Common use of Family Illness or Emergency Clause in Contracts

Family Illness or Emergency. Eligible employees will be granted a maximum of three (3) days leave with full pay during each school year because of serious illness in his/her immediate family (mother, father, husband, wife, children). The foregoing paid family illness leaves shall be charged against and deducted from the above-stated sick days annual leave allowance, to the extent necessary, and any accrued paid leave balance. One of the days granted in this section may be used for personal leave.
