Extended Leave of Absence for Illness. If a person is absent beyond 19 accumulated sick leave because of illness, a leave of absence may be requested in 20 writing if absence is going to extend beyond 10 working days. The reasons, 21 anticipated date of return, and doctor’s confirmation shall be included in the request.
