Ethics and City Policies. No officer, agent or employee of the PBC is or shall be employed by Vendor, by any Subcontractor, or by any of the officers or owners of any of them, or has any financial interest directly or indirectly in the Agreement or the compensation to be paid under the Agreement, except as may be permitted in writing by the PBC Board of Ethics established pursuant to the Municipal Code of Chicago (Chapter 2-156). Vendor shall comply with Chapter 2-156 of the Municipal Code of Chicago, Governmental Ethics, including but not limited to Section 0-000-000 of that chapter pursuant to which no payment, gratuity, or offer of employment shall be made in connection with any PBC contract, by or on behalf of a Subcontractor to the prime contractor or higher tier subcontractor or any person associated therewith, as an inducement for the award of a subcontract or order. Any contract negotiated, entered into, or performed in violation of any of the provisions of this Section shall be voidable.

  • University Policies Contractor shall, at no additional cost to the University, comply with all policies and procedures of the University.
