Employees to whom membership in the Union is denied or whose membership is terminated by the Union by reason of the failure of the employee to tender the periodic dues and initiation fees uniformly required as a condition of acquiring or retaining membership, shall not be retained in the Unit as defined in Section 2.1.   • Full-Time Employees Only Employees will be allowed to participate in health and welfare benefits plans during the year of the leave, but the full cost of such plans will be borne by the employees. Contributions to the Hospitals of Ontario Pension Plan will be in accordance with the Plan.   • All Employees to be Members ‌ All employees of the Employer, as a condition of continuing employment, shall become and remain members in good standing of the Union, according to the Constitution and By-Laws of the Union. All future employees of the Employer shall, as a condition of continued employment, become and remain members in good standing in the Union from the date of hire.
